From Vibe Coding to AI Engineering · 2026
I developed the full 34-document curriculum and taught three evening workshops on writing specs, building custom AI workflows, and adding tests and review gates to coding-agent work. The series drew 164 registrations, and the first workshop filled to a waitlist.

A hands-on seminar built from Sister Circle's survey responses. I covered portfolio presentation, concise communication, live-coding strategy, and structured practice with STAR and PEDAC.
The session paired stories from my own interview failures with practical exercises attendees could reuse in behavioral and technical interviews.
I taught on both campuses for three summers and wrote a new curriculum each year. A character-level text-generation project from the course later became an accepted technical panel at the ACM Tapia Conference. UVI invited me to join the faculty as an online adjunct.

Taught AI and computer vision in a summer program for students.
Designed curriculum and led technical sessions for young Black men.
Taught introductory programming and supported community technical programs.
I earned my B.S. and M.S. in computer science at Mississippi State and was inducted into the Bagley College of Engineering Student Hall of Fame. I founded the Sherry Hill Academic Achievement Scholarship for minority engineering students there.
