I work with foundation representatives, university researchers, institutional teams, and
students to turn higher-education requirements into working prototypes and delivery plans.
- Led a live Claude Design sprint with Purdue Global stakeholders, turning their walkthrough into working interface changes in under an hour.
- Built a governed natural-language-to-SQL layer with server-side FERPA exclusions, fail-closed local inference, and audit-ready reporting.
- Produced prototypes, architecture diagrams, documentation, and research findings for institutional stakeholders.

Senior Software Engineer
New Relic · remote
Built New Relic's open-source Python S3 log-ingestion Lambda as a streaming system under
fixed disk, memory, payload, and runtime limits. It processed a 350 MB compressed input with
several million lines without loading the file into memory and shipped through three
distribution channels.
- Presented the architecture and live demo at AWS re:Invent 2020.
- Helped redesign Logs 2.0, launched Saved Views, and wrote the organization's React Hooks migration guide.
- Introduced end-to-end coverage and a Bug Bash process that reduced UI bugs 40%.

Software Engineer and Technical Lead
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory · Livermore, California
Built and led software for climate-science collaboration and nuclear nonproliferation.
I replaced an 8,000-line Bash release process with Python and Ansible automation, cutting
build time and deployment complexity 90%, and led the ESGF installation team across a
distributed international project.
- Established the web-stack foundation for the Nuclear Suppliers Group Information Sharing System, used by 48 participating governments.
- Named recipient of the NNSA Recognition of Excellence in Support of the Nonproliferation Mission.
- Held a Department of Energy security clearance during the role.
